Leap Day!!

Here is Miss Bekah!  She is heading off on a mission to Detroit, Michigan tomorrow February 29, 2012!  How awesome for this adventure to begin on Leap Day!  I'm so happy to know her and her family.  She will be missed.  Good luck Bek!

Testing... 1, 2, 3... Is anyone still looking at this blog?

I hope you didn't give up on me.  I totally apologize!  I have had a few sessions, and will post them all very soon!  My whole family took turns getting sick...multiple times throughout January---AND what has happened to February??? I have been so terrible at posting!!!  I did get the editing done as quick as I could, but put off the blog because I needed sleep sometime :)  Do I have any followers out there in the wild cyber yonder?  I'd love a comment or two to hear what you all think.

This family is dear to my heart!  I promised "Mom" I wouldn't post any with her in them...too bad.  She beautiful inside and out, but you'll just have to imagine. Look at those cute kids!  This house of boys was finally graced with a precious baby girl!  You can bet that she doesn't starve for attention at all, and she will always have her personal body guards watching out for her.

Madalynn

This is my beautiful niece Madalynn!  I can't believe she's about to graduate from High School!!  You always hear people say how fast kids grow up, but it's FOR REAL!!!  I need to find a picture I took of her and her older sister when they were little---around 3 or 5 not sure on the ages, but it would be fun to post!!  

I can't even begin to tell you how much I love and treasure this girl, her mother, and all of her family for that matter! But since this post is all her--I will say, I am in awe at what a beautiful, wonderful person she has grown up to be.  I have seen her grow and shine over these near 18 years.  She is a rock. She is talented, funny, loving, caring, giving, and much, much more.  She has always been so helpful and a great example to me.  I have seen her gather her younger siblings under her wings and comfort them and speak wisdom beyond her years.  I know her Daddy looks down on her always and is so proud of her and what she has become.  

Keep shining Mad!  I love you!

The Studio is Open!

I always want to say, "I love this family" or "These guys were so fun" or "What a fun time" and this family is no different.  I took their pictures last year too, but you may notice a sweet new addition to the family!  Congrats on the third baby boy!  Send all of these big eyes my way any time!!!

This session was also my FIRST STUDIO SESSION!!!  The studio is up and running, it was a MAJOR fiasco getting all of my equipment here, but I'm excited to have more options for my clients especially during this cold weather!!  Thanks for your patience with me!

Family

This is my big brother's family!  We get so excited to have family come visit!!  I usually don't tell my kids until I know they're on the road because I get asked every two minutes when they're coming.  They came up again on  Christmas day and my oldest boy made a chart to tape on his bedroom door for how many days until the cousins came.  It seemed like he was more excited about them coming than Santa!  Love you guys!

Super Stars!

I think this had to have been one of the funniest sessions!  This family had me cracking up the whole time!  The dad could be one of my brothers with his craziness!  Beautiful family.  It was awesome to have Grandma and Grandpa join the fun too!! Thanks a million for letting me take your pictures!
